MANUFACTURING PROCESS

High-Tech meets hand craft

MANUFACTURING

Because of our unique history, our roots are in high-end tooling. A discipline where ultimate precision technologies and craftsmanship excellence come together. It is precisely this fascinating fusion that goes into each of our High Precision Putters (HPP). Because without high-tech, a KRAMSKI HPP cannot be manufactured. Without manual work just as little. A symbiosis that extends from the bare stainless steel block to the final product.

More than 30 individual operations are required to produce the characteristic geometry of the HPP series three-dimensionally from the “solid” on a high-speed milling machine. Putter heads made of aluminum take around two hours for the blank block of material to take on the desired shape and for every contour and groove pattern to be reproduced in detail. Stainless steel models take three times longer.

    Perfection

    FROM THE GOLD CITY

After precision milling, each putter head is cleaned, ground and polished without leaving any residue, using a great deal of skilled craftsmanship. An experienced specialist needs about two hours for this. KRAMSKI PUTTER is based in the “Gold City of Pforzheim”, the center of the jewelry and watchmaking industry, and employs almost exclusively former goldsmiths, whose expertise and care are particularly useful in such operations. Because only a homogeneous, absolutely scratch-free and closed surface structure enables the crowning glory of every KRAMSKI putter: the perfectly executed coating.

    UNCOMPROMISED

    Premium Finish

Whether high-quality color-anodized or multi-plated with a gold, nickel, palladium, platinum or ruthenium layer in each case – with our careful premium finish, our goal is to limit the wear and tear caused by daily use, by wind and weather, but also by the use of artificial fertilizers on the greens. However, each KRAMSKI putter is only perfectly protected when it is well cleaned and the specially developed protective cover is used after each use. But with so much love in the manufacturing process, anything else would be hardly imaginable.

    FROM DEVELOPMENT TO PRODUCTION

    PRECISION SHAPES EVERY HPP

    INNOVATIVE 3D SIMULATION

The tungsten carbide weights of the putter head are precisely calculated and optimized during the development phase using the most innovative 3D simulation software.

    HIGH-TECH MACHINERY

State-of-the-art 5-axis machines allow milling of the mallet putter heads in a single setup for maximum quality and precision.

    PRECISION GROUND

The striking surface is precision ground to a flatness of 2μ (0.002 mm), preventing impact distortion.
