KRAMSKI PUTTER Sponsors Ladies European Tour Player Kiran Matharu

Pforzheim - 26.01.2017

Since October 2016, KRAMSKI PUTTER is an official sponsor of LET pro player Kiran Matharu. Ever since the bag of the proette from Great Britain includes a blue KRAMSKI High Precision Putter (HPP) 326 TP, she achieved six top ten rankings and finished second at the Indian Open.

The cooperation of the English proette and KRAMSKI PUTTER developed out of bad luck. At the Ladies European Masters 2016 in Germany, Kiran Matharu did not do well with regard to putting. Unfortunately, she did not even manage the cut. Wiestaw Kramski, who supported a charity putt tournament as contribution to the bigger Masters event, quickly found out why. The proette gripped the putter wrongly. The fitting came with a special putt training with Wiestaw Kramski and since October, the English LET player now carries a perfectly fitted HPP 326 TP in her bag. And success proves her decision right: with rounds of 68/68/70, she achieved a second rank at the NordicTrack Open de Strasbourg, and only two weeks later, she was able to celebrate a tied third rank at the Stoke-by-Nayland LETAS Tournament.

And it Gets Better and Better: Individual Re-fitting

In November, Kiran Natharu participated in a big tournament in Johannesburg, South Africa. During a visit with putt guru Wiestaw Kramski who has been at Fancourt during the time, her putter was once again analyzed and adjusted. Kiran’s wish: a new putter with a ½ inch more in length. Additionally, she now was willing to change her grip to reverse overlapping in accordance with Kramski’s recommendation. After the fitting, a new putter was configured straight away.

On the second day, Matharu played a test round on the Montagu golf course in Fancourt – a course similar European Tour level. “That way, I was able to check the new putter straight away and Kiran managed several good putts. Ever since the KRAMSKI HPP is in her bag, she has achieved six top ten rankings and finished second at the Indian Open tournament. Thus, she seems to do very well with her new KRAMSKI Putter, which of course makes my team and me very happy. We all wish her the best and hope to hear more about successful putts and won tournaments,” states Kramski.

Looking Back: Kiran's Way to a Career As Professional

Born in 1989 in Leeds, Kiran discovered golf almost by accident. Aged 12, she accompanied her father to the golf course and hit a few balls. Even back then, a present professional confirmed she had an exceptional talent and a natural swing. Six months later, Kiran Matharu was part of the Yorkshire Golf Team and another two years later, she became the youngest member of the first team of Yorkshire and the British Ladies Golf Team. Thanks to hard work and training sessions with golf legend David Leadbetter in America and Sir Nick Faldo, she won the Faldo Series in 2004 and 2005. In August 2006, at age 17, she decided to turn professional.

Popular with the amateurs, as well as with the pros, the premium putter brand KRAMSKI continues the shine on the national and international greens, gaining a consistently growing number of supporters and fans. Top sporting performances, as for example Germany’s best golf round with a ‚59’, course record at the venerable ‚Old Course’ in St. Andrews, as well as numerous product awards and tournament wins are proof for the excellence of the High Precision Putter (HPP) forged by the German family business from Pforzheim, Baden-Wuerttemberg.
