Kramski putters start writing their story in January 2002. The self-made entrepreneur and passionate golfer Wiestaw Kramski buys a new putter, as he has often done in the past. This time, he is absolutely certain of having found the perfect putter. But, after several rounds on the green, he is disappointed once again. The only difference this time around is that he decides to build a putter himself – the best putter in the world.
This ambition can readily be understood at least by those familiar with the name Kramski from the German high-performance toolmaking industry. For over 30 years, the company, founded by W. Kramski, has been manufacturing stamping tools for veritable global players such as Bosch and Siemens (www.kramski.com). Nevertheless, it takes nearly three years for the trained toolmaker and engineer to develop the first High Precision Putter (HPP) and the success story to take its course. In a mere five years, Kramski manages to establish the HPP as a top-flight premium putter in the golfing scene. Awards, successes on the green, and a growing following are impressive testimonies to the fact that he succeeded in fulfilling the ambition he had at the beginning!
However, the pursuit of perfection typical of Kramski continues. Constant player error analysis leads to further ground-breaking novelties in 2010. Kramski launches the forgiving High Precision Grip (HGP) – a revolution engineered and produced entirely in-house and a novel entry to the sector. Furthermore, the putter is supplemented by a holistic fitting concept and pioneering putt methodology (Putting Academy), with a view to perfecting not only the putter, but also the player’s entire game.
The company grows as well, becoming increasingly complete. W. Kramski now receives support from the entire Kramski family. Three golf-crazy generations – all pursuing one goal: “Mastering the Green.”
